I like my kids to have 5 bottoms to get thru a school week w/o me needing to do laundry. If your family is doing their best, then yes it is. If it's an opinion, then no. Teenage girls are under alot of pressure to look nice and fresh. If it's possible, it's nice, if not almost necessary, to get a new shirt every 4 - 6 weeks just to look on top of your game.
T-shirts are fun but when you get the chance, throw in a few girly, girly dressier types for variety.
