I recently received an email from educationisfreedom.com asking me to renew my scholarship information. Apparently, according to my contact Jenny, I received funds from them for the fall 2008 school year but didn't in spring 2009 since I didn't renew it then.
The problem is, I have received no such funds from anyone other than from the school I currently attend.
Jenny is asking me to send her a copy of my transcript to be able to renew said missing scholarship. I told her I haven't received anything. She said she'll look into it.
However, before I do something so wreckless as to send a total stranger a copy of my transcript, I want to know if they're legit. You never know, they might be a scam.
