I went to an interview in march i didn't get the job but was told if i would like to be considered for future employment of course i said yes. Last week i got a call from them and they asked if i would be interested in the job i said yes but that i was pregnant. I realize now that maybe i shouldn't have mentioned that but i wanted to be honest. Anyways she asked for a couple more references and told me she would call later after waiting a few day's i called her and she told me there had been a miscommunication between management i guess and that the person who had resigned did'nt any ideas on what i should do? should i just let it go? any advice would be good thanks
Thank u all for your answers and i know it will be difficult to prove anything i probably should not have told her i was pregnant but i wanted to be honest with her. By the way she spoke when i first talked to her i was so sure i had the job but then it all went to hell when i told her. I will let it go though no sense in fighting it again thank u guys

It might have been illegal. But you'd have a hard time proving that your pregnancy was why they didn't hire you.

I'd let it go. If they are playing games, you probably wouldn't want to work their anyway, especially being pregnant.

Good luck.
