Is this car worth it?

I have the chance to get a Saab 9-3 Turbo, convertible, with 114,000 miles on it for $4995. Is it worth it? I have always just dealt with Chevy and Jeeps. I don't know anything about Saabs. It is in great shape cosmetically and runs great now but I don't know how long Saabs last.
 
Wow that's expensive for that car....but at least It's not American. You can rent a nice BMW or Mercedes for over 8 months for that price.
 
Saabs are pretty bulletproof. They're about as reliable as volvos, really really reliable cars. That sounds like a good deal, im pretty sure you could get it for at least $4700 though if you haggle.
 
you need to drive it to a mechanic and have him check out your engine and what nots....if you don't know nothing about cars, that's what i would do !!!

dont know you should have told us the year....

i would say its a good buy if it is less than ten years old
