Is this car okay to buy, or not?

Mileage: 145,000 Exterior Color: Green Engine: 4 cylinders
TOYOTA: 1992 Corolla, 145k mi, looks great, 4 doors, green, 4 cyl, auto, CD, great on gas, $700. 800-588-0635. ext. A168.




Someone has said that the car would be a piece of crap because of the mileage? Would this be a decent car to buy?
 
It's great if it looks and runs fine. If they are selling it for that cheap i would check the car fax to see if it was in any major accidents.
 
$700 for a running and drivable car is a decent deal. You have to consider it costs less than 2 months worth of payments on a new one.

Depending on how well it was maintained and how hard it was driven it may last quite a while. I had an older corolla that had 300k miles on it when it finally died.

Have a mechanic check it out and make sure it has no major issues and will pass all required inspections.
