Is this cage any good for a dwalf hamster

I don't really want a plastic one as they get too hot in the summer.
 
I'm not sure really. The bars look a little far apart to me, but I could be wrong. If the bars are not very close together, a dwarf could EASILY escape. They are very small and can fit though a lot of stuff. Check out how far apart the bars are and if they are any further apart than about 0.7cm then you may have an escaping dwarf.
 
I had one that was almost exactly like that one! I not only loved it, but my dwarf hamster loved it when I'd switch cages and she partied in that one. =D That's a good cage! The only problems I had with it is when I'd clean the cage, there wasn't enough room to stick my whole arm in the cage. But those cages usually have a lock or switch where the wire and the bottom connect, enabling the bottom to come off and be easy to clean. But other than that, it was the best cage I had.
