Hey Guys,
Do you think this Book title and back cover blurb is catchy enough to make a reader want to open the book and see what is in it?
Thanks for all feedback in advance!
Book title:
Nirvana: Absolute Freedom
Genre: Spiritual/Inspirational Non-fiction
Back Cover Blurb:
Nirvana takes you on a journey of examining and inquiring into the true nature of freedom. You discover that it is possible to experience true and lasting freedom here and now in this lifetime. And for this freedom, you don't have to strive endlessly and compete with others, you don't have to wait for some after-life, and you don't need be lucky or powerful. All you need to do is to look within, honestly and sincerely, and set yourself free from the limiting beliefs and superstitions that have trapped us in a prison of our own making.
When you learn to meditate, and dive deep into the depth of your own being, you discover an ocean of love, bathing in which all your pain and suffering begin to dissolve. The longer you stay in this inner sanctuary, the faster you will heal. Once you learn to tap into this inner treasure, your inner state of being or joyfulness will no longer depend on any action or the lack of it, on any object or lack of it, on any experience or lack of it; you will experience a state of freedom from thought, freedom from suffering; a state so deeply fulfilling that no objective experience can even come close. You discover the experience and joy of living in absolute freedom, Nirvana.
In this book you will learn
**What true fulfilment is, and what it is not.
**Why so few people are able to realize true fulfillment.
**What meditation is, and what it is not.
**How to transform suffering into peace.
**The significance of having a spiritual practise.
**How to guard your inner treasure and avoid falling back into old habit patterns.
**What sets a master apart from a scholar.
**Why some people get stuck and are unable to progress in a spiritual journey.
**How to live in absolute freedom, Nirvana.
Thanks for your kind comments Kara! I already finished writing it. I just need to find an agent to get this published. Good luck on your project as well!
Nielsen and Remember...thanks for your helpful comments! I guess I will use this as a description of my work in the query letter or an intro chapter summarizing the book if the publisher wants to go with their own design.
Remember....yes, there is some wordiness and repetition here. I will try to trim it down. Thanks for your constructive criticism. I appreciate it!
Now I just need to "collect fulsome quotes with impressive names underneath them"
Wish me luck!
