I need a bike tire for a rim that is 26 x 1 3/4. I went to the bike store and they gave me 26 x 1.5/2.2 tires.
I read on Sheldon Brown's site that decimal and fraction numbers are not interchangeable (ie: 1.75 is not the same as 1 3/4).
Can I use this tube they provided me with my bike or not?
