This is a book I'm working on, and so far I'm not exactly sure if I should continue with it.There are many details I keep going over, trying to make it sound very professional, more or less, to sound like I know what I'm doing. Yes, I am twelve, and I realize this isn't going to sound as professional as Stephanie Meyer, Jane Austen etc. It is a vampire love story, if that helps in any way. I hope you like it, and please let me know what you think!
INTIMIDATING DISTANCES
Prologue
Damon could never understand why I loathed him so deeply. Love and hate could both have meant the same thing at that point. Whenever we would come across each other, he would give me a sweet, chraming smile, as if trying to soothe someone in shock. I, however would glare at him, asI watched the girls in the school hallway go crazy over him. Occasionally, he would yell out my name in the middle of passing classes, and everyone would turn their heads to try to find who he was looking for. It was as if he was the center of everyone's universe. He was the guy every girl wanted, the guy every guy wanted to be, but acted as if he were just an average student at San Francisco High. The fact that he didn't look around and realize how important to everyone he was, made him different, unique, but somehow mysterious. It seemed as if he were hiding something from everyone, but only gave me some clue. Once he came to SF High, I was determined to find out exactly what that secret was. I would let nothing that would distract me in my way.
Thanks for reading!
I'm sorry. I meant "as I" and I know that it's spelled "charming". I was typing too quickly. Also, I'm sorry, I mean writer.
