An example of parasitism would be a flea, tick, etc. That was predator what you were talking about. Think about a flea, say it harms a cat but benefits the flea. Parasites are usually smaller then the host. A predator kills fast, a parasite usually kills slow. Fleas aren't very harmful parasites, but if there are to many on the cat, then yes it is harmful.
