Page 2 of todays Sun newspaper reveals that following a complaint from Labour Party local chairman Laurie Burton to MP's watchdog John Lyon (lab) that over 7 years ago tory George Osborne took out a mortgage for £5k more than the purchase price of his house and claimed expenses for the whole of the debt. Despite this being more than 7 years ago, it will be investigated.
Fine you might say......the story then goes on to say that John Lyon WILL NOT be investigating a similar offence by labours chancellor Alistair Darling.
The big JOKE is that he ( John Lyon) comments "I am doing it not on a party political basis".
I am not a tory - but that stinks....what you think ?
Christine H...totally agree - look at the childish behaviour of Gordon Brown at PMQs trying to defend his lies on public spending - out - out - out!!
 
The political system is rotten to the core.
After 12 years of Labour the old boy network has never been stronger and more corrupt. These Fat, greasy champagne swigging Labour MPs make me sick. The sooner this lot go the better.

The tories should have a go and if they do the same old crap then we should put them out as well. But this governemt is lame and thats why they make U-turns on ID cards and are coming up will more and more stupid policy announcements day after day. for example, i heard them say that under 25 year olds who refuse training will have there benefits stopped. - But what they dont explain is where are the jobs - they all want to fix the jobless figures to make them look good.

They are a bunch of prats.
