Is this ache normal with bicycling?

worked out earlier today, and then later I went for an hour and a half bike ride for fun. I exercise 30 minutes, 5 days a week regularly. 7 hours later, I have a dull soreness in one of my quads when I walk, and above my knee when I sit down. It seems to disappear when I get in a hot shower.

If you are not use to cycling it's going to use muscles that you are not use to using. Check you saddle height and pedal at a high cadence 70-90 rpm's with a lite pressure on the pedals. Pedaling slow and mashing on the pedals is harder on the muscles and the knees. You just quadrupled your daily exercise routine.
