well except for the fact that she's in the side and not in the middle, is it an ugly shot?

I like this shot in some ways. The subject is nicely framed and the viewer's eyes are drawn by the walkway and benches to a vibrant and contrasty subject that happens to be nicely framed by the trees. However, the lack of a face and feet emphasize the figure of the model which, in my opinion, is a little stiff, awkward, and generally weak. I'd also like to add the technical faults as a con, but I think that the blown highlights behind the model actually work in your favor.
 
The focus is great and i like how shes off to the side. Adds interest. The only thing I would have like to see all of her foot since we cant see her face. Keep it balanced.
I absolutely love your "Soarin Flyin" shot. The contrast is amazing.
Hey would you mind telling me what camera you have?
My Canon Rebel just quit on me and i was looking to buy a new one.
 
The color and clarity of texture in her dress is terrific, as is her posture. The background is pretty.
But the cut off face and toes...now that's a little goofy.
