Have the food Catered . don't serve your typical camping food. Champagne for toasting. And what ever else you can think of that isn't " camping" Music of course. Have tables set up. with center pieces. Lots of flowers., and candles.

Thats what I dont want people thinking at my wedding. I am having a small wedding with 10 people including myself and the groom. We are not having your typical desitination wedding at least thats not what I want it to be. Insted of going somewhere tropical we are heading to the rocky mountains I have rented two cabins and the ceremony will be on the side of a mountain by a water fall. My problem is the after party. How do I make it less like a camping trip and more like a Wedding? I want it to be a big party for myself and our friends but I dont want to forget that this is a wedding celebration how do I bring it up a notch any ideas?

Since we're talking about 10 people...these are all close friends and family. You tell them..."hey, for the reception, I want everyone dressed up and not just standing around a campfire."

I believe y'all will have a beautiful wedding. If it helps I am having my wedding in a graveyard. We believe we want to start at the same place the marriage will end.Just have fun.

If you want to "bring it up a notch", may I suggest the use of Garlic? It always seems to work for that Emirill guy.

Either that or bring some Patron and guns

Instead of traditional wedding programs which are overkill for a small wedding, why not have wedding programs that include facts about the area or why you chose it, facts about you and the groom, maybe some activities for the weekend? Also think about enhancing the cabins in some way to up the romance and wedding factor. You can create a cute basket of essentials but dress it up with some white tulle (bug repellant, water bottles with your names, sunscreen) maybe a typed itenerary and menu with special names -Wedding weekend waffles, etc.

Have a sit down dinner catered in or eat out at a nice local restaurant. I think the location sounds beautiful & I'm sure everyone will enjoy themselves very much!

Perfect. This just comes natural when two people get married . Outdoors is best in a pup tent. I wonder what you look like by the campfire light.?
