Is this a varicose vein? Please help.

Hi everyone.

I am only 20 years old. I'm skinny, I exercise frequently, I eat VERY healthily, I don't have a family history of varicose veins whatsoever. Essentially, I have no risk factors whatsoever for varicose veins... but I'm pretty sure that's what this is on my ankle. Man, this is frustrating. I'm very OCD about my health.

Is this a varicose vein? the picture should (hopefully) be attached.
 
It looks just like a large surface vein. A varicose vein has weakened walls and sort of collapses and looks irregular and knotty. Your vein is smooth and undamaged. If it doesn't hurt or throb it is probably OK.
