Is this a pretty good subwoofer?

I'm going to buy a 12" Sony Xplod 1300w 4 ohm sub from best buy. I heard it and it pretty hard. It's a pretty nice sub and reasonably cheap. Anyone have them or heard them outside of the store?
I think the RMS is 350 or so? I'm pretty sure it is. I got a 2 channel amp 1200 watt. Power it good enough?
