Is this a lot for an exercise bike?

I am 206 pounds. Trying to lose weight by good ol' diet and exercise.

I have an exercise bike I ride. Is 20 miles a day good? I have been doing 10 miles in 35-40 minutes. Is it good to double it?

How much is recommended ?
 
first off all i would recomend that you dont do that do the bike for 10 minutes but this 10 minutes isint easy i read in a muscle magazine do 1 minute nice relax then 1 minute full high resistance and full power then 1 minute gently do that for 10 minutes then slowly increase the time and you will lose weight faster its called ressistance training
