Is this a good television?

I'm thinking about buying this television:

I was wondering if this is a good tv for my bedroom. I'm planning on playing PS3 and watching Blu-ray movies on it.

If this isn't a good television, can you please give me a suggestion on where I could find a good television for under $300?
