Is this a good story plot for my next book?

There is a very rich old man, who is about to die. He want's his grandson to get married, but to a good girl. Not the ones who care about beauty, not the ones that like money, a girl that can truly love his grandson.

His grandson thinks he's very important, and he treats people like rubbish. he HATES desserts. Anything but desserts.

There is a country girl who really likes to make and bake things, especially desserts. She get's a job as a chef in the mansion of the 'very rich old man' and is in charge of making desserts for the grandson. One little dessert...starts off the love love thingy.

Is it good? How can i improve it, please tell me.
 
The plot sounds good; it's certainly different! (In a good way, lol)

Just make sure you develop your characters well and focus on the details!
 
Instead of desserts.....why not have her kill his rich old dad....
He probably hates his dad..So she should kill him......Then they start to fall in love.....But the Ghost of the Dad comes back and captures the son%2
