Is this a good price for a 04 Lexus RX330???

I am looking at an 2004 Lexus RX330. It has 35017 miles and is fully loaded except navigation and back up camera. It looks to be well maintaind and is has also been certified with Lexus. It is black with not even one scratch on it. The sticker on it new was $40,258. So I'm guessing these hold there values pretty good. Any advice would sure help. I am stuck in between this and an 2005 BMW 530i. The Lexus is going for $24700 and the BMW is going for $25050. Just wondering what might be a better option?
 
I like the Lexus personally but the figures Im not sure of--try the blue book--Have fun with it--Bruce
 
I am no expert on cars but I bought a 2002 Lexus IS300 (bought it in 2004) for about $23k and so far it has held up great. Supposedly a Lexus is one of the most reliable cars being made and they look so nice. BMWs are nice but I'm particularly partial to Lexus, always have been. I'm thinking that the price for the Lexus you are looking at is reasonable but I can't tell you about the BMW.
Last note: I absolutely love my Lexus!
