You are definitely eating too much. What I would do if I were you is eat something small before working out, then AFTER eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or just peanut butter toast, and a glass of chocolate milk. It helps to fill you up, but not too much, and it replaces necessary nutrients. Also, anything with acai berry is good as it repairs muscles after weight training.
