Should the United States be the world police?
Thesis: The United States seems to be everywhere there is a problem or something going on, but why are we sticking our head in other people’s business anyway; Shouldn’t Washington solve our problems in this country first.
I.The U.S intervenes in foreign affairs.
A.Attacks on neighboring countries.
1.Israel VS. Lebanon .
2.Fight over Jerusalem.
B.Problems in the middle east.
1.Saudi Arabia and the fight over who controls the oil.
2.Poverty in so many countries.
II.The downside to getting involved in foreign problems.
A.Innocent lives are taken.
1.Lives on our side such as soldiers, reporters, and journalist.
2.Lives taken on their side such as civilians, suicide bombers, and soldiers .
B.Loss of money due to loans and debt.
1.Money is loaned to other countries.
2.We need loans to keep our economy up and moving and then cause debt.
III.The upside to getting involved in foreign problems.
A.Access to trade with the country.
1.We are able to trade with the country for money to keep the up.
2.Assistant when we are in need of help.
B.Able to ask for money and loans.
1.Able to ask for money when we need it.
2.Have gained their trust
