is this a good book idea or not?

my story is about a groupe of superheros that live toghether. they stopped fighting crime and just have normal jobs. they all have there own problems. like one superhero is mixed and is having troubles excepting himself. one superhero wants to have a family and one superhero is gay with a teenage daughter but dosent know how to tell her. she doesnt live with him she lives with her mom but everybody in the house knoews he is gay. there is an attack on there city but they dont know who did it and must find out ways to solve there own problem while trying to save there city
its also suppose to be like a comedy
 
it would make a better movie or graphic novel

it reminds me of Watchmen a little bit
 
I think i'd rather see it at a theater than read it. I don't think a book with this in it would hold my attention unless it was a short book, 300 pages or less.
 
Sounds similar to the Incredibles.

I'd read it. I love superheroes. Except Spiderman. I'd rather still be in mortal danger than be rescued by Spiderman.
