I know it's a bit long, but please bear with me.
This is the information for my book that I have Worthy of Publishing:
At one point in his life, Zach Reilly was the man. He had a successful career ahead of him and seemed to be one of the best, younger director's out there. When his sister's, Abby, wedding is one week away, his estranged father comes into town with his overly-paranoid step-mother to reveal that he will be staying in his house for the next seven days. Over that period of time and several, strange bathroom incidents, Zach's OCD and anxiety begins to get out of control and he is left feeling like a defenseless child all over again. He finds himself having panic attacks, repeatedly checking to see if his door is locked, and counting the stairs as he climbs up them, which worries his family.
When his brother, Chris, is in a car accident on his way to Abby's wedding rehearsal, he is rushed to the hospital. The gang is forced to wait it out in the small church, since only Chris's wife can be with him. The wait and everyone discussing his brother's fate proves to be too much for mentally and physically exhausted Zach and he does everything he can to single-handedly destroy his life in six hours.
Who knew that one week of living with his father again could forever alter the way a man lives his life.
-- What do you think of it? Would you read the book if this was the blurb you looked at? If not, then how can I improve it to appeal to others?
By the way, this is adult book with adult characters and situations.
Thanks! I really appreciate it!
