I have a fresh set up in my 20gal tank with 100% RO water. I put 1 baby albino Oscar about 3inch and 3 live plants (1 Medium potted sword plant, 1 Amazon sword plant, and 1 Anubius plant) for the cycle. I'm thinking about waiting 3 week for it to cycle up and then test the water for PH, Nitrate, and Nitrite. Is this a good set up? I'm planing to get 4 discus and when they starts to pair up I'll drop it down to a pair in the 20gal and separate the other 2 into another 20gal. Any comment would be helpful on helping me to be successful on my discus preparation.
Is this a good aquarium preparation for new Discus?
