You are looking at getting between $1,800 and $2,200. I had a 04 Z400 in great shape with lots of extras and i tried selling it for $2,400.00 It sat for a while and i finally got someone to buy it for $2,000.00. The biggest problem is that there are a lot of these quads around for sale since everyone wants to get the newer 450s.

I have a 2003 Suzuki Quadsport Z400 racing quad that's liquid cooled, it's got a lot of nice features and it's an extremely fast bike that I might consider getting rid of, if I decide to sell it then I'm going to want to get it sold in probably no more than a month, how much can I get for it if I want to sell it that quick? It's in pretty darn good condition for it's age (not pristine condition, looks really nice though). Tires are good, relatively new it's been kept up nicely and regular maintenance as needed, what do you guys think? Anyone who helps, thanks!!!
Also what might a dealer give you in a trade in do you think, not asking an exact price, just a ballpark figure would be nice, thanks much :-)

if you want to get a rough price try searching a few of the same model and year and see what price they come in at and see what condition there in as well

You might want to get it sold in no more than a month, but that depends upon the general public wanting to buy something immediately...which in this economy isn't happening. I would say hold onto it for a little bit, because you're certainly not going to get the price you want. In fact, you might take a beating on it if you push forward with the sale. And speaking of the sale, in the main question you ask "is this a decent price for a suzuki quadsport z400"? but now in the main paragraph you're asking how much can I get for it if I want to sell it that quick? You never wrote in the price you were asking for, or the work you did to it. And forget about a dealer doing a trade-in, they'll beat you down even more than a private buyer right now. They can't even move their own inventory!
