why should someone not just get a new one, though, if they are going to save only $30?

depends on how long you want to wait
you MIGHT find someone to pay $140
but it might take a year to find that person
or a lot of luck

wle.

I bought a schwinn cruiser at target for 170 and I never use it. Its barely used. I put it up on craigslist for 140. I keep getting offers from people who want it for 100, 80, and 60 bucks! I could never sell this bike at that price, its barely used and I paid 170 for it PLUS tax! Is that a bad price, should I stick by it?
im selling it because i never use it and i NEED the money.
What should I resale at as than? 120? 50 bucks off?

Walmart bikes have a very poor resale value. Like you many people buy these bikes and ride them a few times. Usually you get about 1/2 of what the bike costs new.

The bike is only worth what someone is willing to pay at any given time. It might be better to keep the bike, unless space is a problem. Best of luck!
