I have 2 mollies, 2 tetras and a small cory in a 10 gallon tank. The dalmation molly, black molly, and albino cory have been in the tank for a month. I introduced a reddish orange hi-fin tetra and a sunset tetra that were introduced 2 weeks ago. The mollies were originally acting like bullies, mostly with the hi-fin. They stopped after a day or two.
Recently, I took a 5 day vacation and put vacation food in the bottom of the tank. I came back and the two mollies were hanging out inside the small ceramic rock formation. I performed a water change, removed the gross looking vacation food, and fed their usual flakes. They both came out and swam around. The black molly seems to be ok, she's active and public. The dalmation molly is just sitting inside the rock formation. It only comes out to eat and then retreats back. The black molly will sometimes hang out with him, but usually swims around freely.
She doesn't look bloated. There aren't any visible wounds. Her eyes aren't puffed, and there's no ick.
What on earth is going on with my dalmation molly? Is the black one protecting him/her from something? It's the largest fish in the tank...so I have no idea what's up.
