H hockey star Guest Oct 10, 2009 #2 i would rec. useing pb blaster it oils the lock so it wont rust shut and itll be easier for u to lock and unlock we use it in the shop all the time on numerus diff things

L Locksmith New member Oct 10, 2009 #3 sounds like the latch plate is misaligned. check to see that the lock actually fits into the latch plate.
