I have taken my car in for service and its under warranty. They have had it for 2 weeks and just ordered parts. They have told me that multiple parts are on backorder and that it will probably be about 8-10 weeks to get them in. The transmission is completly shot on my 02' RSX type S and acura has said that its a common problem
The car is under warranty and I have done all the correct maintaince. I work in the service industry and under some circumstances if parts are on backorder for to long the insurance company will just junk the unit and replace it or write a check for what the unit is worth.
