Is there really a difference between judging and forming an opinion of someone?

forming an opinion has more to with observing the inherent characteristics of a person. for instance, is the person honest? caring? demanding? rude? calm? These are opinions you form based on observing a person.

judgment implies setting a value on a person based on those characteristics, like a person is worthy or worthless or wrong or right based on your observations and your opinions.

saying a person is rude is forming an opinion, saying they are a bad person because they are rude is making a judgment
 
I was just wondering what you all thought. I know the definitions so no need to only answer with those.
 
Judging implies reaching an objective truth that is greater than the person making it.

Forming opinions implies developing subjective positions that are specific to the person making them.

Judgments imply finality.

Opinions imply mutability.
