I like to buy some Kerisik, but have no Malay shop nearby here in Hong Kong. However, there are plenty of Thai shops. Is Kerisik used in Thai cooking, and if so, what is the Thai name?

Kerisik = dry fried coconut flakes, essential for Rendang dishes.

This kind of coconut is normally used in Indonesians or Malayseans cooking. Thais don't use.
