I have recieved a Federal Pell Grant, but I need more financial help, is this possible after recieving a FPG?

I seen something about Barack Obama sending moms to school, but it looks like an internet scam, does anyone have info on this?
I am a full time student with 14 credits and a mom of three. I am unemployed but my husband works . We are also recieving help from the government for food as well as WIC.

The only other aid available to most students are Federal Stafford loans. The ad for Obama sending moms back to school IS A SCAM. There are other scholarships out there for women BUT you have to take the time to find and apply for them.

That ad is an internet scam. Obama raised the Pell Grant maximum for the 09/10 school year. He also instated a new education tax credit to help students with out-of-pocket expenses. There is no other "Obama Grant."

The only financial aid available is federal and state grants (obtained through fafsa), student loans, and scholarships. From experience, it is tough to find scholarships for adult learner though, as many are geared towards high school seniors entering college. Are you needing money for your tuition, or for living expenses? If it's for tuition, you can take out private loans (if you qualify) if you've already maxed out your federal student loans. If it's for living expenses, all I can recommend is to keep looking for work and/or maybe your husband can get a part-time job as well as his full-time. Cut all expenses except the necessities... this means cancel cable and internet, a cell phone, etc. Eat at home (which is great with food stamps), find cheap or free entertainment, and shop at yard sales and thrift stores. Poverty isn't fun, but it won't be forever. Good luck!

If you've received a Pell Grant, you also qualify for Federal Stafford Loans. Your school should have given you this option. Contact your financial aid adviser. And complete the state and school financial aid applications before March of 2010 to possibly receive more aid for the 2010-11 school year.

Yeah, the Obama sending moms to school is a scam. It's the federal financial aid program that's been in place for years and years.
