My daughter is sick in the hospital with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency. She is only 10 months old. I have been living at the hospital with her since Valentines Day, when I was told she had SCID, or "Boy in the Bubble Syndrome".. In these last few week, I have lost my home, had to quit school, and can't even afford to eat anything other than the hospital's free pantry (a thin selection of canned goods). Her mother is in a bad situation as well, on the brink of losing her home.. she lives with her 2 year old.. It is a struggle for her to make it to the hospital because either she doesn't have enough money for gas or she can't find a babysitter. We need financial assistance desperately.. Does anybody know of an organization that could help us?
