Yesterday for example. We were running late for church and my son ate some oatmeal and banana gerber cereal made with formula. and apple juice for a drink (he is 1 btw) we were so rushed i ran out w/o packing a gerber meal because i was so rushed (we were going to be out all day.) He had a small snack in the middle of church, but it was like 5 gerber puffs and some more juice (diluted half and half.)
there was a meal after church so my mom sat with him in hos highchair while i went through the line from him and I. There were plenty of healthy choices and the main dish was chicken Well when i got back my mom had occupied him with tons of finger foods like crackers, carrot sticks, a roll and some other things. This was ok with me because inbetween bites he usually will eat what im offering with a spoon, but that time he ate the crackers and roll and about half the carrot and refused the spoon. I think he got in 1 bite of chicken.

Then we headed down to my nieces 1st bday party, which was supposed to be outdoors but a storm blew up and this huge party had to be moved my sisters tiny house, so there was literally standing room only. my son ate a couple plain potato chips and like two bites of ice cream and cake.

after the party we went to frishes and Hunter ate some applesauce, yogurt and goldfish crackers. he had milk to drink. That is all he ate all day and i know it may not sound bad especially after writing this out, but he usually gets three square meals a day and 2-3 snacks a day. He eats 4 course at each meal except breakfast which is usually cereal and fruit and milk/formula.

Do you ever have hurried days, mom where nothing goes as planned and you lo eats on the run all day? how do you solve this?

Days like that happen. Only if it happens once in a while I wouldn't worry about it, he eats healthy all the other times.

I try to pack healthy snacks the night before a long day or I get out a small cooler and make a list of things I want to pack that morning, water bottles, yogurt, fruit, chicken salad, cold cuts, etc. That way it is right there in front of me.
