In the United States, there is the question as to whether or not the nuclear bomb in Japan was necessary. I personally, think it was not, but some people think that it was a critical part of ending the war. Does that controversy exist in Japan, or is it a general consensus that the citizens of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were victims and did not need to be nuked?
