I bought an SKS carbine a few months ago and fire it at the outdoor Public Shooting Range in Garland Texas. However, I would love to be able to plink at cans and stuff like we did when I was growing up in Michigan.
Is there anywhere in north Texas, maybe an hour or two from Dallas where I can fire my rifle without ending up in jail?
Possibly state land, an old gravel pit, or something?
I don't know anyone who owns land to shoot on.
