Is there anyway to have a band play at an outdoor wedding with no power?

Me and my fiance are geting married on some property we have with our gardens that border the national forest. Problem is, everyone keeps telling me we can't have a live band with no power? Can the band hook up to a generater? Maybe we could get 2 generators... one for tent and one for band? Suggestions or Information will help.
 
Your best bet is to ask the band. They might not have that equipment and it might come out to be more money. Same thing for a dj though.
 
yes of course....the band could have all instruments that dont require electicity, such as acoustic guitars, real pianos....but best bet is to just talk to all the bands and see what they can do...there will be some band that'll be able to do it!
