every web browser is different.

If you're using Internet Explorer, the simple way to do it is to go to the toolbar at the top and click on Tools. Click Internet Options.

The browsing history option should be displayed. You can check mark the box to delete browsing history on exit. if you do, you have to hit apply for it to work.

Click the delete box under browsing history. You have the option of checking the things you want deleted. Hit ok. It will then delete your entire internet history. To make sure it's deleted, go to your history.

Yes...Whist in Internet Explorer, go to the top righ-hand corner and left click "Tools" on the drop down left click "Internet Options" On that drop down under Browseing History, click Delete...

Try downloading Ultrareach to a Memorystick, and use that as a web browser. and when you want to delete your traces (history+cookies) Click on the option button In the control box (which will be in top left)

If its firefox,
Tools-> Clear Privacy Data-> Tick all boxes you wish to delete-> click "Clear Privacy Data".

This fully deletes any data stored on ur computer.

The answe very much depends on who is likely to be doing the looking, and what their level of expertise is.

For a simple clean up, download and run ccleaner.

Also click on tools/Browser options/Clear URLs and Clear Search.
