is there anyway to check my carbureter on my 1986 chevy truck its an edelbrock .?

i have fuel up to the carbureter but the truck wont start it turns over. but wont start. and can anyone tell me how to check if the carbureter is flooding. i got the carbureter rebuilt but im still having problems. how can i tell if its just not good.

I take it it's a four-barrel? You should be able to look down in the carb while having someone crank the vehicle over and see a spray of fuel going down into the engine. If not, you may have a problem with the float level and needle-and-seat assembly. Take it back to whoever rebuilt it and have them check the float level.
