is there anything other than Redsnow to jailbreak a 3g 4.2.1. ipod on windows?

so, i have always had issues with redsnow, namely, that cydia always crashes within a second of having been launched, so i would like to know if anything else will work for me at the time.

also, if anyone happens to have a fix for my issues with cydia under redsnow, il take take that as well.
