Is there anything I can do to help with educations?

I don't want to donate my money to some fraud thing that barely helps or anything......I use to not be able to stand stupid people but I have family in the rio grande valley and their lives are not perfect. I feel bad for them and wish the schools in America were better for them. I was fortunate enough to go to one of the best public schools in another state. And education really does make life easier. But the rest of the schools are like pure sh**. What can I do to make them better? & is Obama doing anything to promote or help better schooling?
 
So far Obama really has not addressed education. Most of his focus has been elections of Senate party members, health care bill and his many trips overseas concerning foreign policy. Your observation is true that there are school districts and regions of the country that public education does suffer because of the limited funding that the school district receive. If you want to donate time or money....you could set up a scholarship for a specific program or for economically challenge student. You, your self could become a teacher - go and work with Title I schools (economically challenged). In those schools the resources for special education is tight, the students tend to come from economically unstable families.
