is there anything i can do to get a higher rank after graduating boot camp?

Ok so i was just wondering if there were any other things i can do to start off with a higher rank, I will be enlisting in the Marines in about 3 years and was just curious. Also how long is MOS training for 0317 And lastly does anyone know how to get into 0326 and the training involved please and thank you. oh and one more thing i will say this right now i don't want to be a scout sniper because im a "wicked shot"
i wish to do it because i think i have what it takes to make it

Let me add this: don't think about rank. The Corps is about fighting and winning our country's battles. How does a stripe on the uniform and a few extra bucks help that? It doesn't. It isn't about your personal glory or benefits: it's about the Corps and our mission.

Instead, think about being the best Marine you can be. You only have three years left to prepare yourself. We need you smart, strong, tough, and mature. Get focused, get hungry, and work your butt off. Join the wrestling team, run track, take AP classes, work summer jobs, etc. Be the kind of kid who grows up to be a Marine: a hard worker who recognizes what really matters.
 
I don't know how the Marines works, but I'm doing Air Force and going up to E-3 because I signed up for 6 years instead of 4. Also, college credit can affect it, AP exams and stuff. And if you've been in JROTC for a certain period of time.
 
Your focus needs to be on enlisting into the USMC in the infantry field. You can not enlist into the fields you mention until you qualify for them.

You can earn your rank the way thousands of Marines have done since 1775, and that is by earning it as you serve some time.
