is there anything fishy going on with toyota and honda always on the top of

consumer report list? I know they are good cars, but is there must be some politics involved in the consumer reports list of best and worst cards
 
I don't see how. I've participated in Consumer Reports, JD Power, and other car owner surveys myself for years and other than them sending you a dollar bill to incent you to take the survey, there is no reason for anyone to rate any car brand better than any other. They ask very direct questions about problems you have had, the type of problems, and if you would buy the same car again in the future.

I've also owned Honda and Toyota vehicles and have considered them to be more reliable and better quality than other brands, particularly American brands, that I have owned. It is no surprise to me that these two brands are always on top. Have you ever owned a Honda or Toyota?
