Is there any way you can get your previous chat from Facebook?

I was taking to someone on Thursday. Is there any way I can see the conversation again?!!?!?!?!?
 
Sometimes I have noticed that when im talking to someone on facebook chat, then talk to them later like say a few days, i am able to see our chat history. But sometimes this doesnt happen either. I think when you just click on their name on chat thought it doesnt come up, just when you have a new conversation.
 
No- when you close the chat screen, the conversation closes and you can't get back into it. The only way to save it would be to leave the chat up (don't close the box). Good luck!
