A few months ago we purchased a sound system that has a DVD player on it. Immediately I noticed several faint lines running down the screen that were more visible on a darker screen. I have disconnected the DVD player but I now notice the lines on the regular tv and the xbox as well. They are not as clear but you can still see them in the background. Is this irreversable or can it be fixed? It isn't too bad yet but it is annoying and now that I've noticed them its impossible to ignore!
Is there any way to get rid of faint vertical bands on an LCD tv?
