Is there any way to get a blood test without an IV in your arm? I am sick and have been in and out of the doctors for the last 2 months, we do not know what is wrong. I am deathly deathly deathly very seriously afraid of IV shots in my inner arm. We are at the point where it is neccessary to get blood tested to find out what is wrong. Yesturday when I found this out, I had a panic attack and passed out in the hospital parking lot. Can anyone help?
Also, letting me know "it will only be for a second", or " It doesn't hurt its only a pinch" will not help. Im not afraid of the pain, or needles or anything like that, I have just had very traumatic experiences in the past.
