I was trying to replace it but it broke off with most of it stuck in the engine. Its a 2.8 with a crap load of miles so I just want it to run ok, not worried about it being perfect.I basically understand how it works on some cars, but is there anyway that if I short the wires together it will trick the computer, or does this thing actually rely on its signal for the timing and whatever?
