After you have inserted it in the location you want to present it at try right clicking on the icon. In PP 2002, click on the "custom animation" that is displayed on the menu. To start it automagically you click on "start with previous".
The Microsoft Office website talks about setting up a specific computer so it will run swf files as part of power point 2007.
