Is there any way I can make BitTorrent work while my computer is switched off?

I'm currently downloading a file and it says it will take 14 hours to download, is there a way I can still make the file download while my computer is switched off or the computer is hibernating/sleeping? thanks.
 
no you can't make it download with the computer off as there wouldn't be any power to the system, no power no programs running, do what i do, log off (not shut down) and switch the screen off.
 
No. Your computer cannot process data while it is off. You may be able to switch to a data-processing low power mode (ie turn off your monitor and speakers), but you cannot turn it off or hibernate (which is off with a saved image).
